Passion Before Paycheck Is Actively Seeking Entries From You!
What is Passion Before Paycheck? Simply put, it is every human being’s desire to do exactly what they were uniquely meant to do…before all the ”static” is entered into the equation. “Static” derives from the need for money, the requirements to live or stay in a certain place…the obstacles that are thrown at us on a daily basis….the fears that enter our awareness that revolve around “what other people might think?” or “what if I fail?” or “what if I lose it all and then have to start over?”
Passion Before Paycheck is a place for you to read, view videos, and write/comment on what you are absolutely passionate about. For some this will mean what they are doing on a daily basis, like a musician. They themselves may or may not be making money, but it is this passion that we want to hear about. I have met so many individuals that are amazing at what they do everyday and money is not their object. You can see the energy in their whole being. For them, the payoff is simply doing what they love.
For others, it will mean what they love to do in their spare time and satisfies what their innermost needs. It might be their weekends with the kids, doing activities with friends, spending a quiet moment on a mountain by themselves writing in their journal or donating their time to a local cause.
There are also people out there where Passion Before Paycheck is what people absolutely wish they “could do” on a daily basis and get paid for it. The fisherman that wants his own TV show or the athlete that desires a large sponsorship that allows him or her to keep being an athlete every day. Some might also choose to be philanthropic each and every day if they had the chance.
In the coming weeks and months I will be showcasing video clips, photos and links from Passion Before Paycheck individuals that we have interviewed and followed in order to experience their passion first hand.
How does this work? Simply follow the steps below.
-
How to Start: For some their passion is clearly in their head for others you may need to sit and think by yourself with no distractions. It took me two months of inner searching to find my passion, but writing my thoughts down was the number one factor for success and here is your chance to do just that.
-
What to Write?: You can write about anything…you can add or omit, if your passion is making you money or not…you can explain in detail or simply put it down in a few words. The blank page is yours to fill.
-
How to Submit: Click here and send me an email (kenyonsalo@gmail.com). Make it as long as you like. It may be a sentence, paragraph, page or whole book. My guess is that most everyone can capture their passion in a half to full page. If you would like to put it in the comment box instead, you can, and then I will transfer it from there.
-
Then What: I will personally read each one, edit it for minor adjustments and then post it as a “post” not a comment on this blog.
-
Signature Line: You can choose to leave your name in partial, full or anonymous…it is your choice.
-
Video and Photos: If you would like to include, which we definelty love, photos or video please attach them to the email. Video needs to be a copy and paste of your URL address from your YouTube Video. I will then include them in the post.
-
Passion Push – Passion Before Paycheck would be happy to push your products, website or blog. Put it in the email and we will link to you.
-
To Inspire Others: Please cut/paste and send this link (Passion Before Paycheck -Inspire Others Here!) to a friend or family member that you know is passionate about something.
My dream, and I am passionate about it, is that others will be able to come here and see a post that they particularly feel relates to them. A post that may inspire them so much, that they take action because they have seen that it is possible, it is being done, it does happen to all of us and it is inside all of us! It is the power of individuals like yourself that can empower, motivate and inspire an entire world. What are you passionate about?
Write your post now! Follow your passion! Inspire others! Inspire yourself! I am certainly inspired by this journey that I am creating!
Thank you very much.
I am grateful for your interest in this project.

While you are thinking….take a look at this video. You may or may not have seen it before, but it never gets old in my mind. His passion and inspiration is awe inspiring. I can only imagine that what he was doing as a Passion Before Paycheck has certainly paid off … in ways that far exceed any money he may receive.
FAQS – Get Your Answers Here
What is your mission?
We seek to provide a place where a person can write to inspire themselves, others and us.
How much do I need to write?
A word, sentence, paragraph page or book…as long as you feel your thoughts have been expressed then it is the correct length.
How do I know what to write?
Writing comes from your soul…what you write is 100% the correct thing to write. It is who you were, are and will become. That becomes very clear to the reader, the writer (you) and us.
Do I have to put my name, age or location?
No to all the above, but it does help add to the personalization of the writing. It is also nice for all involved to see where you are from and the age. Another person may be looking to be inspired at age 50. Writings that include this let them know that they too can accomplish and succeed at similar things because someone else is showing that it can be done. We protect all emails and respect the privacy of all individual requests.
How do photos and YouTube links help my writing?
We are visual beings to some extent. Photos give us a snapshot into a frozen moment in time. Color ads to the site and we of course love seeing your smiling faces. YouTube clips are amazing as we can see you being passionate about your life in action. Because each and every person is predominatley 1. Visual 2. Auditory or 3. Kinesthetic we try to include something that you can see, hear, read/feel. The site is amazingly powerful when you add the combination of photos, video and people’s words from deep inside their beings.
How does adding a link to a website help me?
If you are truly passionate about what you do then people will know this from your writing. People yearn to learn more, so allowing people to see additional things about you, your business, ventures or groups you support is something we would like to provide. It is also the least we could do for you since you provided your valuable words/content to this site. We are grateful for that.
Where does the link for writing entry go?
At this time it is merely a link to our email address. (kenyonsalo@gmail.com)
When you send in your writing it goes directly to us for review and then we manually post it to this site.
What if I am not passionate about anything?
We all have passion for something, but some are not aware that it is already inside them. You can use this site to be inspired or you can work with Kenyon Salo to clarify your dreams, passions and desires in life.
How does commenting help?
Comments are great for a number of reasons. It gives feedback to the writer to let them know that they helped, guided or inspired someone. Comments also allow the most popular articles to be found again and again for others. It helps us get more of what the readers like into the content of these pages. Lastly, comments are a way to acknowledge the writer on their journey and time spent putting their inner most thoughts into text form. We very much appreciate all comments from our readers.
All email address will be kept private and not resold. All names will be respected as asked. All text and entries will become property of www.kenyonsalo.com.

Hello Kenyon! I was surprised to see your comment on my blog. I am glad that you enjoyed some of my writings there though the one that you’ve commented is not my own…:) but I still thank you just the same. Comments makes me more inspired and proud of my writings. It’s such a big deal to me that someone appreciated my work and I’m really grateful to you.
With regards on your blog, I really can relate with some of your writings. I may say that this is one of those blogs that I really like and got stucked into because I love most of your posts. Long ago, i wrote on my first ever blog post that “writing” is my passion. Though at that time I’m still not confident if I can write with sense or if I can really find the right words to write. You are not the first person who told me that I should write more. That person believed that I have the potential in writing and that I can be really good at it If I just take it seriously. But sadly, sometimes I feel so lazy to write though thousands of words are running through my head. Sometimes, frustration is one of the reason why I don’t want to write though it is also the very reason that motivates me to write. Sounds ironic I know but it’s true.
Now, I feel more enthusiastic because of people like you that recognize my work. Thank you very much. I hope we will continue inspiring people by our writing.
